Brief
Scotiabank was looking for a US-based agency specializing in financial services to help establish and build a brand for the leadership team of its digital services line of business. The bank engaged Vested to develop a platform for executive leadership team members, and a big focus of the program was creating impactful and controlled thought leadership content. Scotiabank needed an agency with team members who specialized in banking and had access to a network of talented copywriters.
Approach
Vested worked closely with Scotiabank to develop a thought leadership platform for the executive team aligned with the business’s objective. Through intake calls with the executives, industry research, and recommendations from Vested’s own points of view, the team established relevant storylines for each audience, adjusting to relevant news cycles each quarter.
Results
The team drafted and secured placement for executive bylines in prominent banking publications such as American Banker and The Banker. Additionally, Scotiabank won several awards connected with each of those publications tied to those thought leadership pieces’ themes. Additionally, Vested repurposed the content as speaker pitches to secure the executives speaking engagements with leading conferences, such as Money 20/20.
